hi, has anyone been able to set up DR on the new vray for c4d 1.8x? :D
I have c4d R15.037 and vray 1.8.1.63 installed an working well on my windows 7 desktop, just no luck getting it working with the laptop through DR...
I have the (updated) client installed on the win7 laptop (with the ip in the DR pane), they seem to be talking to each other (team render at least shows them in green, and I can verify). I installed bonjour, although that may not have been necessary.
Does vray DR even use the Team Render client software?
It looks like only the slave machines would need the client (will master will still render?)
Presumably the plugins including vray need to be installed in the Client app??
I have the PCs connected via a crossover cable but so far no cigar. :(
any thoughts?
