Bend Over Natural

I have this female character which I'm trying to skin in the best way possible for various poses and it's going good so far. However, whenever she is bending over her crotch transforms into a punk haircut, and I don't want that.

I'm sure pretty much all of you know what I'm talking about, question is: how to you deal with it?

Is is simply a matter of skinning her the right way, or should I learn to use latices or what?
