I am trying to create a fly through animation through a building but its look quite robotic as the building is intricate and getting it to focus on the exact area I want at different times in a seemless animation is hard as I am not an animator.
Though I get this is not strictly animation.
What I would like is like in some fps games where you can spec the level and have a free cam like in CS, except you could then get maya to record that, so I can render the camera out.
If you get what I am talking about, could you point me to something that is quick and effective, or is this harder than I think.
I am thinking along the lines of a spline or something, but still want the camera to focus on key objects while its moving through without looking like I am keyframing and inputting rotations as I have been.
Thanks...
