I constantly look out of new Cross Platform Game Engines and these are what i found recently:
There are 2 extra (commercial) Engines being developed (Still in Alpha/Beta Stage):
I tried to look for id Tech, but it says it will install to 35 GB  that's quite big for a Game Engine. So it's not an option, for i don't want to learn more about tons of documentations.
I think Anarchy is a good choice for anyone who does not like Unity, it has good documentation, but it's problem is it only accepts 3ds Max and Maya Models currently (FBX Importer is in development for Project Anarchy BTW).
BTW, has anyone had look at the BeamNG Torque 3D Drive? It's pretty cool ..
Want your suggestions:
A) Do you think it's necessary for me to actually test an Android App in an actual Android device and not just rely on the Emulator? (I'm thinking about using Corona SDK for Android Game development, but i have no Android device currently)
I know the question is a bit stupid but i'm in a need for some cash, 2D Game development, i think will help me in making money (while it won't be immediate), anyway just not sure about the reliability of the Emulator .. Do you think the end user experience can differ significantly (from my test with the Emulator)?
B) Has any1 tried to develop Games by coding in C/C++ with Google Native Client SDK? How hard is it? (I Know Unity has Chrome NaCl export option, still asking about the hard coding thing)
C) Publishing to iOS requires Mac, so i was thinking about using Virtual Machine with Mac OS Virtual HDD and install XCode in it, will it be illegal too? Few have done this though i don't think Apple can find out and/or any legal issues can/should arise. What do you think?
Thank you ..
- Wave Engine (Free C# Game Engine)
