Rhino 5 Basics now encompasses many new tools to work with your designs. Using the Rhino 5 interface we walk you through step by step with videos and pdf files for your book to print. Inclusive in this module are 38 projects and exercises which take you through basic jewelry modeling in 3D. It is a great starter set of projects which are fairly easy to do. Learn how to do curves, surfaces, booleans, solids and stone placement. In the module documents you will get all pertinent information of how to work through your projects, gems, ring sizing chart and setting techniques general to the trade. You will also get a video to start you out with adjusting the interface and saving it as a template. If you haven't used Rhino at all this module is for you...even if you have done some modeling we suggest you start here. The exercises at the end are video only to help you with your designing.


Intermediate Rhino 5 uses the new interface for Rhino. There are 25 projects and exercises supported by pdf documentation and videos online. Included are the module documents with gems, demos and T-Spline objects. You will learn how to design and engineer anniversary, dome, curved channel, signet rings, links for bracelets, heart shapes, gallery heads, bezels and pendants. Through more advanced techniques you will learn curves and surfacing in different ways to enhance your engineering methodology or workflow.




Advanced Rhino 5 for jewelry design using the Rhino 5 interface and tools. In this module at present there are 14 projects. We go into halo rings, pave layout on flat and curved surfaces, with and without pinpoint prongs, patterns and how to apply on flat and curved surfaces, clusters for rings, pendants or earrings, asymmetrical hearts, euro solitaire shanks, and divided and bypass shanks for rings. Included are the gems and scaling to specific sizes for your needs, T-spline objects and general information on modeling for success.
