I am having a problem that in theory has an obvious solution but I am new to 3DS max and have no idea what to do.
Ok so when you import an illustrator file for example, you can make a spline of out it, then a plane and extrude it. So you don't have to manually trace around your drawing.
How do you do this with an image SEQUENCE? to animate a plane mesh.
Let me me be clear though: I do NOT want an opacity map.
I have an image sequence (will it's an AVI with alpha atm). It's just a simple flat man I animated.
I want to convert that to a plane mesh, then extrude him so that I can pour water on him with realflow while he moves around and his shape determines how the water moves!!!
If you can make a spline from one image, surely you can do it from an image sequence???
Many thanks in advance
