Im about to buy a new GPU and I've been considering the gtx 660 ti or the hd 7950.
At first people told me that even though 7950 had more raw power, I should go with the 660 ti due to better drivers and better compatibility with photoshop cs6 and maya 2013/2014.
However I've recently read that amd released new drivers that make it worth using the 7950 even with maya. Moreover, cg apps are increasingly going into the opencl direction rather than cuda.
What do you guys think? Am I going to lose performance in PS CG6 by going with the 7950? Will I have troubles running maya 13/14 with the 7950, even with the latest drivers?
