GREAT NEWS for AMC 5.5.3 Win 32 Bit users! Avid recently released Patch Update to v5.5.3.7. Much to my delight, I downloaded & installed the .7 patch, then ran the last release "Team V.R Medicine" for AMC v5.5.3.5 and PRIOR to first launch, selected the "Dongle Option" and VOILA! AMC launched perfectly! As usual, two of the "Helper Apps" Patch Updates needed several repeated install attempts for EDL Manager & MediaLog. I discovered that when those updates failed and I got the install registry key/access violation errors dialog, a quick 2nd install attempt at the patch resulted in successful updates of those apps. This latest .7 patch seems to have resolved a number of known issues and so far my editing has gone "swimmingly well!"
