software for coral-like structures?

Hi, I'm looking for a software/Plugin/script to create something like corals growing around another objekt, something similar to the gw Ivy Generator maybe. I know speedtree, Onyx, XFrog, Vue but I don't know of anything that can do this. Ivy Generator is atm the closed thing I know.

I'm usually working with 3dsmax but anything would be helpful...
