This tutorial series of 58 videos by Stephan Pilz will explain the whole process of modeling the Rolex Daytona watch in Maya. The Rolex Daytona watch is created using polygon and NURBS modeling techniques. UVs are created by using Headus UV Layout and textures are created in Photoshop. Finally it will show how to create some shaders in Maya and render it with mental ray.
In this tutorial I demonstrate how to model the ROLEX DAYTONA watch in Maya. In the end it should be about 58 videos from 5 - 10min. (over 7 hours) I will use polygon and nurbs modeling techniques .... when the modeling stage is done I'm creating some UVs by using Headus UVlayout and create some textures in Photoshop. Finally I show how to create some shaders in Maya and render with mental ray. This is a step by step tutorial ... but I recommend a basic knowledge of Maya
