Question about ban...

Hello Mods,

I was banned three days ago for posting a link to a fundraising for a program.
In a forum thread about another program that exports only to the aforementioned program.
So definitely related... :-)
I fail to see the spamming! And why a ban, without a warning? I would never spam, so this all baffled me...
I would like a polite answer from one of the mods if that is possible, thanks in advance :-)
